With generous support from IEEE TCCA, and ACM Sigarch, IISWC 2026 offers travel grants for students to defray a portion of their travel costs to both U.S. and international student participants. The size and number of these grants will vary depending on funding availability, the number of student applicants, and their respective priority.

Important dates and information about student travel grants:

  • Student Travel Grant Application Deadline: TBD.
  • Notification of Grant: TBD.
  • Grantees must keep original receipts for reimbursement and mail them in or present them at the conference to verify their expenditures.
  • Recipients do not need to be authors/presenters to qualify for a travel grant.
  • Expenses will be reimbursed after the conference.
  • Awardees from U.S. schools must fly with U.S.-based carriers for airfare reimbursement.
  • Awardees will be required to email the travel grant chair a short essay describing their IISWC experience. The essay should describe what they have learned, and their favorite talk or presentation. These essays will be published at IISWC conference to encourage students to attend future conferences.
