Student Travel Grant

Students who are working on their research in the areas of interest to IISWC are encouraged to apply for a limited number of grants, which can used to cover part of the expenses they incur in attending the Symposium.   Travel grants will be made out in the form of a fixed amount of money paid to the student's University.  To apply for the grant, please send the following by October 4, 2006:

1.  An email to the General Chair ( jay.jayasimha "at" intel.com ) giving the following information:
        - your particular area of research,
        - at what stage of the research you are in (e.g., year of graduate study),
        - if you are student author of a paper being presented at 2006 IISWC

 
2. An email to the General Chair ( jay.jayasimha "at" intel.com ) from the student's advisor stating
        - that the student is working full time under the faculty member's direction
        - name of the research project that the student is working on

Grant decisions will be communicated by October 6, 2006.  Acceptance of the grant implies attendance at the Symposium and will need to be communicated to the General Chair by October 9, 2006.
